If you check out Sol Tamargo's blog you can find pictures of a wedding that took place here. It looks beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Let me know what you decide!!!
Thanks,

I do know this.....THEY DON'T HOLD ONLY ONE WEDDING A DAY! I'm actually going to be there before June hits, so I'll have to give you a review myself. =)

I am getting married at the Excellence Riviera Cancun in November. I think I read somewhere here that people weren't interested in ERC because their rooms are on the high end. Also, they do not allow children. Here are some of the pictures Ana (WC) sent me.

Reception location

The Foyer is also the alternative location for the ceremony if it is raining. They do it at the end, were the people/band are standing. It actually has a great view of the ocean. The large wood doors, I think, lead into the banquet room, which is also a reception/wedding option. There is a court yard that can be used for a reception location. I took pictures of that and will attach those later. You can also have a reception on the beach, but you must have a min of 50 guests.

The gazebo is very pretty, but in a horrible location. It's pretty much right in the middle of the resort. There is a bar to the left of it. It's a high traffic area.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll try to post the pictures I took tomorrow.

Yeah, my fiance and I leave for our wedding/honeymoon a week from tomorrow! woot.gif The photo you posted of the room looks like all the others that I've seen. I just wonder how all the suities vary from each other. Does anybody have any photos of the rooms outside of the one from above? I found a pretty good video on YouTube (see below) that goes through one of the rooms. I'll be sure to take plenty of photos of my room when I'm there. msnwink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
