29 days away from my wedding and the WC is gone!

Becky if you want I can call there on Monday... we have free long distance to the US and Mexico and I'm going through the same issues so I could try to talk to the manager. Another option for you may be phone cards... my FI's family is in Germany and Australia so we make a lot of long distance calls... phone cards are definitely the way to go. So much cheaper! Let me know, though, and I can definitely call them on Monday about my concerns and yours... with emphasis on you seeing as your wedding is just around the corner. Let me know!

I think it's well worth paying for the phone call for your peace of mind. Call her, tell her you're going to talk to her about everything NOW. Have your previous emails with the other WC on hand and go over everything you can think of. You can always send her emails while you're talking to her, or if not, tell her you'll send them and will need a response by x date.

Just get yourself organized. I think the most important thing here is to bring all your existing emails with the old WC with you and make your new WC aware of all the arrangements that have been made.

Thank you for offering that Heidi! That is so nice of you! I emailed the reception coordinator who is really fast at returning my emails and asked if he could help and he told me that he spoke with the new WC and that she is just really busy with the change in jobs and that she will get back to me very soon. So, we will see if that happens. That was yesterday, so if I don't hear back from her by tomorrow afternoon or something, I think I am definitely going to print off all of my past correspondence (a LOT of emails) and make a list of things and call her using a calling card. I just want this to be organized and on track so it is one less thing to worry about. I really appreciate your offer - that is really such a nice thing for you to do. But, I am going to go ahead and get a calling card either way and if I don't hear back tomorrow with all of my answers, I will just make the call. Thanks again for the offer!!

No problem! I'll cross my fingers for you that she gets back to you by tomorrow. You must be getting excited!!! Not long now before you leave... and I'm sure once you get into the sun all your worries will melt away. Good luck... I hope you get all your questions answered tomorrow!

On a side note, your dog is so cute. is it a french bulldog? adorable!
Danielle,
Thanks for the compliment on my dog! Yes, he is a French Bulldog. Absolutely my baby - still thinking I am going to try to sneak him in my suitcase for the wedding!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
