Iâ€m so excited you are going!!! You know this site visit is for me too, lol.

Let me know how you like Enlace. Please check out the size of the band (we are only getting the 5pc) and let me know how that goes. Also, their transitioning to recorded music. Do ppl still dance?? Lighting- what they provide vs extras (rentals) vs what the Mayan provides. Pris says they only provide lighting for the stage and not the dance floor.

Oh, check out the dance floor at the Mayan. Pris recommended that we cover it with white plastic. Is it really needed??

Food at the Mayan, taste for me too, lol!!!

Oh, and is this the wedding that will have a Marimba band?? If so, let me know if they are worth it!

I know Amy you will be in soul and heart during this visit!!! I will check those items for you and for me too!!! I will try to get pics from everything if I am close enough to do and without disturbing obviously!!!

Enlace performance is at a Marriot Wedding so I dont know what is going to be the extras on lighting and stage but I will do take notes for you...

Lets hope the wedding on the Mayan is big as ours to check the layout , lighting, setting, etc... and I am def looking to see the cover for the dance floor...

The Church Music is a 3 pcs assembly so I dont know if you are planning to have one but I will let you know anyway...

Tasting.. I dont have my choices yet so I will let you know on that too...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
