Has Anyone Flown AeroMexico?

I have flown AeroMexico and MerryMe is right, it's one of the oldest airlines in MX and is def not a piddly charter airline. Just FYI for anyone wondering, my FI and I would NEVER fly Mexicana - he has many times in the past and had very bad experiences. We've both flown AeroMexico and I'll say it's decent. I wouldn't say great or even good, but decent. They've never lost our luggage but there are other factors to consider. Let me tell you though that the first class on Mexican airlines my FI says is really sucky and no prize and he usually sits in first class if he takes a Mexican airline. There's about 6 inches difference, and on AeroMexico the "first class" seats are cloth. Mexicana's first class he says is a little nicer, but he "would rather walk than fly Mexicana"... the main problem I have with the two airlines is that the flight attendants are not very polite or accomodating. And even though I speak spanish, I can tell they treat me differently versus how they treat my FI, and i dont like that. just my two cents, take it or leave it.

Sorry, I meant my guests. We had some book the ryan air flight and some book the aeromexico flight. Now it looks like they will all be on the same flight. I think it will be better if they are in groups. That way they can ride the bus to the hotel together, wait at customs together, etc.

ohh....ya. I thought you were saying that they treated you better because you did speak Spanish. Either way, we should be okay. FI's family are Hispanic and mine is just a mixture of many things.

I hate when that happens, it is unsettling.

We've flown Mexicana before and we'll NEVER fly with them again. The service TERRIBLE -- the flight attendant wouldn't even get water for another passenger who needed it so his brother could take his medication. When my FI also asked for water the attendant told him to just go sit back down and they never did come by with the water. Also, jewelry was stolen from my luggage and when I filed a claim with the airline, they (1) told me I should've known better than to check my jewelry, and (2) suggested (not so subtly) that I was lying about it being stolen. Also, the plane was not air-conditioned for the entire flight, so we were sweating and getting dizzy as the cabin temp was about 90 degrees.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
