Just had a breakdown

Forget the wine and go straight to the vodka! We all can completely understand your stress and worries! But try not to freak out (I know, easier said than done) because you are about to marry the love of your life. Just breathe, and have a nice hard drink wink.gif You'll be fine! We promise!

Like others have said I loved what I read in your thread about what you bought for your OOTs. You have done a great job and your wedding will be magnificent! Take some time for yourself then some time for you and your FI. Maybe look at your resort website and dream of being there so soon for the best day of your life!smile03.gif

That's right, people are coming because they love and support you and your FI. OOT bags are not the reason they are traveling. I think they sound wonderful and will be a welcome surprise.

Put the wedding stuff away for a few minutes and give yourself some breathing room. Think of all the things you've accomplished so far to give yourself some perspective!

I'm going to have to mark this thread because I'm sure I will be feeling the same way 16 days before my wedding! At least you have your dress! Mine is on back order and not even supposed to be in until about a week before we leave!

Don't worry. Everything is going to be just fine. Fantastic, even.

This is just normal anxiety, and it will pass. Have that glass of wine. Talk with us. Call your MOH. Call your mom. Call FI. Get the planning stuff off your desk (or kitchen table), put your feet up and take a breather.

Your wedding day is going to be the envy of everyone here, so don't you worry about it for another minute.

Thanks! And yes, I cannot wait to get home so I can have a drink and calm down...

Speaking of talking to my MOH.. Her and my BMs have been one of my biggest problems.. I've felt like I've been doing everything on my own and not getting any help from anyone. My MOH completely forgot about my bridal shower and I'm the one who made and sent out the invitations for it!! It's crazy I tell ya.

I did talk to my fiance though and he, of course, calmed me down and made me feel better about things.. I just need to stop fretting and remember what this is all about..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
