Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

Thanks!!! I decided on the first one!! We just finished our music for the ceremony! I can't believe we leave tomorrow!!! It feels like last week that I wrote "I leave in 6 weeks!! actually 7 haha" It flew!! It's calls for thundershowers all week, but oh well! I just want to be there!

I'm nervous about the flight, and we aren't fully packed yet - so that's today!

I was supposed to get my nails done - acrylic today, but I'm having second thoughts. How much did you pay for them Carribbeanlover? I'm worried about the nail damage, and that they will look fake. Hmm I don't know what to do.

haha sorry, I think out loud a lot on here lately! lots to thikn about!

My nails are real... I just did a french manicure on them (but the gel nail polish)

I say go for the freak nails... and cut them short enough, they wont break... it's a promise!!! and the paint wont chip for at least 3 weeks. Even though I have real nails, I should have done the fake ones, to assure none of the polish would chip.

I'M SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU I'll be thinking about you on your day!!!!

Now go pack!!! lol

sorry!! I didn't realize you had long nails!! acryic is a type of fake nail though!

so if you already have nails, why not just do a french menicure? That'd be a lot cheaper!!! but but but, the nail polish may chip..especially with the salt water and sun. So if you went with acryic, you'd be sure they wouldn't chip (and $50 is actually pretty cheap!)

I know it's a lot of money do to the nails (I paid $190 for nails, toes and eye brow threading) but it was worth it (I'll never do it again but it was my wedding)

Okay thanks for the tips!! I opted not to do it, just did my own french manicure like I always do! my nails look so nice though! :)

We are all packed -- bags by the door!! just wanted to thank all you past brides for all your patience, tips and reviews!! It's been amazing and calmed my nerves plenty. I don't know how I would have made it without hearing feedback, so thank you!!

I will be back in 2 weeks with pictures and information! Thanks again!!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
