Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

He took alot of pictures. I have pics from everything!! except the dinner, that was going to be an extra $300 and we didn't do speeches so I couldn't see paying the extra money.

I haven't ever had sugar waxing. I do get my Brazilian every 6 weeks though. Nothing to be afraid of. Don't get yourself worked up about it and you'll be fine. :)

Love the pic Steph!!!! I didn't get any garden pics lol!!

Who did you use as a photographer!!!!

Ohh she allowed your dance at the resto!! that's great...we were going to do that but since we had the beach party we had our father/daughter Mother/son dance there. We did our cake cutting at the resto and we had our first dance as a married couple at the gazebo, I'm so happy the photographer followed us back to the resto for the cake cutting pics, and since we were losing light quick we did the group shot at the restaurant as well.

We got our marriage certificate in today!!!Feels so much more real (if only I could read it!!! lol)

For us in Montreal it's going to cost me $40 to translate it into english (Not to bad!!)

Wow!! I love that pic of you both - great dress!

I go back and forth about the order of our pictures, because I was going to do first dances/cake cutting etc -- but my mom said group pictures are important to have too. I may need to just book another hour.

We customized a package with HDC, so our package is less $$, but 3 hours split into 2 days. I'm wondering how much it would be to add another 30 minutes or so the day of the ceremony if we need it.

Tracy, how long was your TTD? Did you feel it was too much/enough time?

Beautiful Picture!! We didn't get any garden pics either.

The AHR went great. I was really to tired to enjoy it though, and if I had to do it all over again, I would just have close fam and friends come to my parents for a pool party this summer, it was ALOT of work.

sungoddess you only have your photog for 1.5 hrs the day of the wedding?? I would def add another hour. We did our dance(only Mike and I) and cake cutting right at the gazebo, then group pics at the gazebo as well and then the wedding party went to the beach for pics, then he did a session of just us.

Well no - I have him for 2 hours the day of the ceremony and 1 hour for the TTD a few days later.

He said it would be enough time (25-30 min for getting ready) 20 min for ceremony, and then the remaining 1 hour, 10 minutes for dances/group photos etc...depending on the order I do them in!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
