Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Do you have to pay anything more then a $9 per person for the bar for the lighting for the beach party? I want to do dinner at la Uva (non private) and then party on the beach, or the new gazebo after, but $ is tight.

I'm Rebecca from Chicago Most of the US brides are on the Mexico forums lol. It looks like I am the only May bride, but I am hoping to hear reviews and feedback from the April brides before it's my turn!

From what I've been told, we have to pay for our wedding package through the resort for the obvious 'wedding' stuff - which includes non-private dinner at La Uva for all of our guests. As for the beach party, the band is an added cost (I believe $600 US) and then to have a private bar/bartender is an extra $9US/person... I've been told that they'll light up the beach for us but that was from our wedding planner here (I think based on past experiences), not confirmed with Carolina for our party specifically... I guess we'll find out in 22 days!

Danielle I bought my bridesmaids dresses at fairy tale bridal in Orleans, the web site is not that inviting, but the lady there is wonderfull and her prices are great, the store is like in her garage.

 

Dianne what date are you arriving and leaving the grand palladium

 

ok well with the results LOL Danielle and Tracy won't be able to meet, only you guys see eachother at the airport on at the front desk checking in and out

 

The date that I can see right now for all of us to meet is on the 15 and we can meet again on the 17 for Danielle

I think that sounds good. We all meet the 15 I don't think Danielle has picked a resort yet, she is still deciding. I hope she picks ours I would love to meet her!!
