I think so. If I remember correctly, they're scheduled to be there an hour before our ceremony, too. We got the three hour package, so I figure an hour for before pictures is MORE than enough. I'd rather have more of the ceremony and after.

23 days until we leave!!!!!!!!1

Yeah!  We arrive on Jan. 4th!!  Carolina always takes awhile to email me back, but she always does!  I sent her an e-mail last week, and have not heard back from her yet.  People on this thread seem to say that once we arrive she will be very attentive, so that makes me feel better!  Where is your wedding/dinner going to be?

I would also like to see the script for the ROV/Symbolic Ceremony. I haven't done much planning, but we are going simple on everything so I am not worried.

Who is the next Palladium bride to get married? I can't wait to hear another brides review! Our wedding is in April 2011. I am getting nervous because a lot of people said they were coming but they haven't booked yet. Our immediate family booked, but thats it so far. We are fine with them being the only people there, but will the Palladium treat us any different since we might just be a small group?

We aren't sure if we will have money for photography, but we are looking into using HDC for the TTD session since its ALOT cheaper! How soon in advance has everyone booked HDC?

Sorry for all the questions! I guess thats what happens when your away for awhile! lol

Jerzshortstuff,

I'm also getting married April 2011, the 11th actually. I had the same problem with people saying they were booking and backing out or not booking. Oh well it will still be fun! I also booked HDC for our photography, they've been great so far with the booking. I would ask HDC how booked up he is on your date then you can figure out how quick you need to book. What day in April are you getting married?

We are getting married April 28th! I will definitely check with HDC... although since we will prolly only do the TTD session (since $ is tight), I am thinking they can book it whenever. I will be excited to hear your reviews when you come back since its so close to my date!

Is anyone getting married in 2010? I'm anxious for new reviews, tips, and photos cheesy.gif

And I know it has been mentioned on here before.... but do we know what our bouquet and dinner options are?

Hello to all the brides on here. I'm getting married May 2001 and have a couple questions for you guys. Did anyone find deals at the Palladium if you booked a certain amount of guests? Maybe a free trip or cash back? Also, I'm trying to plan for decorations at the reception, I'm doing a private reception and I don't know where it will be yet, how did you go about coordinating colors, centerpieces, and other details?

Thanks for all the advice

Christine

Hi Chooker13,

Well, I think it's normally the travel carriers (so whoever the package/flights are booked through like Apple, Sunwing, Air Canada Vacations, etc.) that give deals if a certain number of rooms are booked. For us, we need 20 rooms booked to get the equivalent money to a free flight...we have the 20 rooms booked so we will get some sort of rebate from the carrier to put toward our wedding fee, I just don't know the exact dollar amount yet...I should probably ask my travel agent that, haha. We also got a group rate, too.

We're doing the private reception as well since we have enough people. Our colour is turquoise. For colours, the resort has numerous colours for ribbons or sashes if that's what you mean and you just have to tell Carolina what you want...you can send her an email or just wait until you get there and meet with her.  As for centrepieces, I'm not too picky so will wait to pick something down there. I am going to bring a few things for the dinner tables with me, such as blue-green votive candles, and some sea shells as decorations.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
