Thanks for any info.
Yep! There is a bottle of champagne for the bride, groom and bridal party, and they serve wine to the rest of the guests at the ceremony.

Great!! thank you so much, how long roughly does the toast take? 15-30 mins? is this done while we are signing the papers? or right after all that is done?
Thanks again for the help! It's allot easier making a time line when you know how it'll work. and if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't know until I got there. I would like to make a programe/welcome letter for the whole week and the wedding

Its happening to me too sad.gif

I emailed Carolina again today, and told her it had been a month sence I emailed her and she emailed me back within a couple hours!! lol

I'm not going to do a timeline, I don't think, I'm sure it won't be on track, so I'll just make sure everybody is gathered up for the ceremony and dinner and of course the disco, after that, I'm going to bed cause I'm sleepy just thinking about it :)

oh, maybe BDW is having some issue's if it's not me only.
LOL good move!!

I was thinking the same thing, that my time line probably wont stick, but I'll try anyway.. gives me something to do lol, as this will also me my welcome letter in the OOT bag.
LOL yeah it will be a very long and tiring day, I'm with you on that, right after the disco/dancing off to bed.

Hmmm, I don't know why that's happening....the links used to worksad.gif I'll see if I can fix them, otherwise you'll just have to search my pic links the old fashioned way....

The toast was about 10 minutes and then then our photog took over and I didn't even get to finish my glass of champagne!! The ceremony was at 4, followed by the signing of the legal docs, then the cake cutting/toast, so probably around 4:30-4:45 everything was wrapped up for the guests....we had photos and then train picked us up at about 6 or 6:30 in the lobby to take us to dinner.

Seaprincess, those are gorgeous pics! Congrats on your marriage!

I was wondering where you had your dinner and reception at the resort and if you can give us any tips on what to make sure we arrange before heading to the resort and anything else you think might be valuable to know. Thanks so much!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
