thanks for the info, as I know nothing about Ipods and docking systems... I feel old. When I was younger I could have figured these things out in a second, not anymore!!

Your so right about the first dance, Carolina said it was ok to do my first dance at the restaurant, I may re conisder to just have it all at the gazebo at night (first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/song dance, bouquet and garter toss)

geez....if your old than I'm ancient....it's one piece of technology that's not really needed. Once you start getting into it though, you don't stop. I have an ipod with 80 gigs....love it. I watch tv show at night on it!!!

Hi all, I heard from Carolina this morning and she told me that they will have a new Convention Centre built in the next few months where they'll be able to hold a lot more private receptions! She told me I don't have to book anything with her right now and that I can decide on that when we get there. Also she sent me some great new pics of the new gazebo which she also said I can decide on once we arrive. (Notice I'm always saying "I" instead of we? haha Show's how involved my FI is in the planning process! haha) How can I add pics to this page?

"We" have chosen the bridesmaids dresses which is exciting!

We're going with Teal which costs more since it'll be a different fabric and colour than this design comes in but it'll look beautiful!

What are all of your grooms wearing and what about the groomsman? We're thinking khaki's and a white linen shirt for FI and then khaki's and a light blue shirt for the groomsmen. Will light blue and teal look awful? We were also thinking FI could wear all white linen and the groomsman could wear khaki's and white linen shirts. I hope we can find linen somewhere during the winter months. We'll probably have to order online or something.

I love you BM dress, it's so pretty, looks very comfertable, shouldn't be hot at all. What color are you picking?

I've decided to put the FI in a tan or beige suite. The GM (we only have 1 so far) we haven't decided yet, should we go with a suit for him, or shirt (the color the match the BM dress) and dress pants (beige).? You do you girls think? I think if we put the GM in relax wear, it wont suit my dress or the FI suit.

 

I'm having a hard time figure what I can replace the fan in my OOT bags for the guys. I'm really hoping one of you would have an idea for me, nothing to $$. I don't want to put a fan in for the girls and nothing to replace it for the guys. I was thinking like a blow up volleyball, but I read someone put them in their bag,and no one used them.

I actually have 2 Maids of Honour (have 2 best girlfriends I couldn't chose between) and a bridesmaid. They'll be wearing Teal which I think will look gorgeous against the water...maybe a bit of an obvious colour choice but the girls liked it best on all of them so that's what they're getting.

How about a Nurf Football for the boys OOT bag? I know that my FI and I spend hours in the pool and ocean tossing the football around when we're away. Either that or a frisbee. Those are our 2 "must have's" for down south trips.

Can I ask something stupid....What does OOT stand for? I've seen everyone write it, and I have no clue what it stands for! haha

lol...out of town bag. I was thinking of putting a shot glass in the bags for the guys ( psst, and it's something the girls can use too...lol) They have great one down there, where the shot glass is in a leather sleave.....super nice!!!!

very nice BM dresses LOL I'm ordering the same one's but the short version my bridesmaids are gonna be in fuschia and the guys are gonna wear beige linen pants with a light pink shirt.

For the groom I'm not exactly sure I'm thinking a white shirt to make the difference, but I don't know if it's gonna match with my dress. (my dress is dark ivory or champagne) I bought it on sale, so I don't know the color I'll know tomorrow I'm bringing it to the lady where I'm buying my bridesmaids dresses LOL

For the linen pants/suit I'm buying online it's way cheeper. There's a few good web sites.
