Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

military mrs - I just confirmed yesterday (and moved to a day earlier). The issue with that week is that it's right after Easter, and according to my TA, some of the staff takes off, some of the watersports may not be up and running, etc. Just one opinion though.

We've been to the DR over Easter and its a huge holiday. Many domincans are on vacation, and our experience was at a resort without a private beach and the locals all head to the beach for the weekend. There were no watersports etc but everything went back to normal on the Tuesday if I remember correctly.

I'm so excited, we just secured our wedding date for April 21st, 2010!!

It took us a couple of weeks of going back and forth witht he WCs. I emailed both Carolina and Isyuney. We are staying at the Punta Cana, and from what I've read on this forum, Isyuney used to be in charge of weddings there, however, we have only ever spoke with Carolina. In the package she sent us yesterday, it only has her contact info for the whole resort.

Carolina has been really great, really some of the time that's passed was my own fault, but yesterday we emailed back and forth for an hour or so to firm up the date. It's such a relief to have so we can start booking!

Hang in the Military Mrs...sometimes, it takes some "reminders". My TA also emailed them for me as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
