Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

That was very helpful. Thank you. My daughter is getting married on March 15th at this resort. Carolyn is her WC. We will be doing a beach wedding and have booked a private dinning room. We would like the music trio so that is great information. Again, thanks for the review.

Hi Stephanie,

I noticed you are getting married at GP in April 2010. I am just in the process of securing a date for April 2010. I will likely be there at the time you get married but we are looking at the following week. I wanted to ask you a few questions. I see your wedding date is on a Saturday, so that must mean that saturday's and sunday's are options for weddings? I was originally going to get married in Mayan Riviera and they do not have weddings on the weekends.

Also, do you know what the costs are for a private reception? Are you getting married on the beach or at the gazebo?

Anyway, I am really excited to see someone else on here that is planning there wedding around the same time. There does not seem to be that many brides for GP DR on here. The Mayan is flowing with info and brides, but I am really happy to have chosen DR now.

If you have any info that would be great. Thanks

Trina

I had asked Carolina for 4/17 since it is a Saturday, but I'm not sure that it's not possible to be married on the weekdays. Ours is a catholic wedding, so I needed the priest to be available on that day too, and we'll be in the gazebo. The private reception is an additional $1000, at one of the a la carte that is on the beach.

My ceremony time is 2:00 pm, and I'd really like it to be later in the day. I emailed Carolina about changing the time, or even the day with the priest, she is going to think i'm crazy soon. But I'm just worried that it'll be this huge stretch of time before the actual reception and dinner.

PM me if you'd like me to email you the package info that I received from Carolina!

Hi, I am getting married at the Grand Palladium in November 2009 and am having trouble getting replies from Carolina to my emails. Just wondering if you would be able to email me the package info that she sent you.
Thanks!

I am getting married at the GP Bavaro December 10,09. I emailed Carolina the WC over a month ago and she just responded. She sent me some pics of cakes and ceremony set ups, everything looked beautiful. Still not sure if we are going to have a private reception or not we have 20 people booked and still a good 8 planning on going. I guess alot will be decided when we get there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
