Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

Hi Elektrokitty,

In you post you had stated:

Venue and whether it's private vs non-private dinner comes at a cost and depends on the number of people in your party

I was told that if its non-private dinner that it is included in the wedding package. Is this going to be a extra cost when we get there?

Thanks

Jen

Hello

If it's Non-Private it is included in the package.  If you'd like a private dinner, at the time of my wedding it would've cost $1000 USD.

I would love to keep this going! It has been pretty dead for the past few months. I just moved my date from Dec. 28th to March 26th, so I am excited! I've been in contact with Carolina for about 3 months now and have done a tone of research, so I'm happy to answer any questions if I can!
. Hi Jpro! Just read your post and noticed that your wedding date was the same as mine, march 26th :) can't wait!

Hey ladies! I'm new to this site and love it already.  All the help and info is awesome.  My fiance and I are not yet 100% booked (waiting on coordinator for availability) for the Grand Palladium Punta Cana for NOVEMBER 2013.  We are estimating about 30-40 guests including kids. We are doing a symbolic ceremony at the gazebo. My wedding specialist sent me all the wedding packages and I'm just SO CONFUSED as to what they all include.
1)What package did you choose for a symbolic ceremony?

2)Did you go for a private dinner? if so, what restaurant and what hours?

3) for the private beach party, what are the hours?

4) how many ppl are included in the package for the dinner/party? how much is it per person if over the max amount of ppl??

5) who is your coordinator at the resort??

I'll worry about decor closer to the date but i'm just soooo confused in terms of the ceremony/dinner/party.

HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!! when we decided on DW, we never thought it would be this confusing and overwhelming lol but i definitely know it's ALL we want to do!!! Hoping i hear from you guys ASAP! :)

HI Everyone!! A coworker sent me the weblink for this site and this has been a true LIFE SAVER. My fiance and I are getting married in November 2013 at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana. We are doing the legal (civil) marriage and will certainly plan to give the embassy PLENTY OF TIME for them to get our documents together. We have got our package reserved but have not booked a room at the resort and we need to figure out what is best for us. He prefers that 'any room will do' but that certainly is not my attitude! Hey, the brides need to be completely taken care of - and that includes the room. Anyways, we are interested in finding out more things that include: 1. Whether a semi-private dinner is better or to rent out the entire facility 2. Wedding Decorations and the variety GPPC provides 3. Any extra's that need to be provided for 4. Locations for reception 5. DJ or Musical Trio (is the extra money worth it) 6. PHOTOGRAPHER! We definitely need a awesome Photographer There is so much information on this site that me and my MOH will be tackling this together. We have time but there seems to never be enough time for this. There is always something that pops up. I look forward to hearing your tips and tricks as there are plenty of difficulties of planning a wedding abroad. Cheers

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
