Married or going to be married at Grand Palladium Punta Cana?

Recommended Posts

We're using HDC as well. Obviously, I can't share my personal opinion on their work yet, but all the photos I've seen from brides in this forum have been great. I know the booking process was easy ans efficient though. My emails and questions were answered ASAP.

MsRedbird, I am undecided about the time to have the photog start taking pictures. Since I have a 4pm ceremony, would 3pm start time be fine? Any help would be appreciated!

I recall that other GP brides used HDC and they LOVED them, so I think that they're a great choice too!! When is your wedding date again??

MY wedding date is July 22, 2011 :) What time is your ceremony at?

Glad to see this thread active again! I've had a lot going on here so I haven't had time to check in. But it seems like everyone's planning is going well! I would also like to see the script for the ROV/Symbolic Ceremony. I haven't done much planning, but we are going simple on everything so I am not worried.

Who is the next Palladium bride to get married? I can't wait to hear another brides review! Our wedding is in April 2011. I am getting nervous because a lot of people said they were coming but they haven't booked yet. Our immediate family booked, but thats it so far. We are fine with them being the only people there, but will the Palladium treat us any different since we might just be a small group?

We aren't sure if we will have money for photography, but we are looking into using HDC for the TTD session since its ALOT cheaper! How soon in advance has everyone booked HDC?

Sorry for all the questions! I guess thats what happens when your away for awhile! lol

I'm doing the legal ceremony and have no idea what the symbolic ceremony script is like, but I've seen other brides post that you can write your own and they will read it.  Our wedding is June 2011, so you beat me..  I'm also concerned with people booking but I don't think you'll be treated any differently, it's a wedding and regardless of the size of the group their making money off of you. I already booked HDC, when I spoke to Arnaud he told me to book asap

Wow, lots of posts today! Fantastic!

My wedding is January 2011, in exactly 3 months! Our ceremony time is 430pm and I am happy with that and I cannot wait! I think msredbird is next and I think hers is in November. Here's hoping I'm right!

I bet they will treat you the same too, no matter what your group size. As chell said, they're getting your money regardless! At first we only had our immediate family too, but this past two weeks we had a bunch of people book and we are at 31 now (including bride & groom). I am still in shock over some of the people coming!

I didn't realize that I could write my own script for the symbolic ceremony. To be honest, I am not good at these things and I would rather follow a script they have! What's everyone's reception plans? We are thinking semi private dinner and then the private beach party.

I am getting married in July 2011 :) Working out the kinks now with travel arrangements for the guests but we are taking the approach of letting the guests choose their own travel arrangements but my FI is in charge of presenting guests with all types of booking options, (travel sites with package deals, suggested travel agent, etc).  I am in the middle of booking HDC photo yayy, I've heard so many great things about them so I feel confident in them. I was afraid that they would be booked because I checked with Photo Souvenir who I was very interested in as well but they were booked on my wedding date.

Hi All- I'm new to this site-thanks for all the wonderful information!!  I am getting married at GPP January 08, 2011.  Msredbird51- I also want to set-up a Catamaran cruise the day before the wedding!  We have 60 people coming, so the one you booked might be a little pricey- can I get the information for the other companies that you were also looking at?  Is anyone else having a Catholic service?  I believe the service is done in Spanish with an interpreter as needed-is that correct?  Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
