Do I just number all the cd's? I feel like I'm going to have to keep telling the dj when to play things and I don't want to be bothered, I just want to enjoy my night.
I ended up #ing all my cd's (#1 bouquet toss, #2 father/daughter dance, #3 garter toss, ect....) however, I completely forgot to mention it to Carolina for her to explain to the DJ so once it was time to play them he just played a song from one of my 3 mixed cd's, ended up being just as much fun anyway. As he ended up picking real good songs for whatever we were doing, really worked out perfect (the only thing I was a little disappointed about was I picked kung fu fighting for the bouquet toss since it was just my MOH and BM and I knew they would fight to their deaths for it...which they did!, it would have been so funny but really no one remembers the songs lol you get way to drunk!!! especially at an all inclusive resort)
So if your real strict on having specific songs for certain things, just remember to explain it all to Carolina at your meeting.

Hi! Are you planning on getting married at this resort?

It's not true, this resort has sound system in each resturant, so they have each their own music for the theme of resturant it might be.

Hi ladies! I am back and had the most amazing wedding! I am going to give a quick review:

Carolina and Wedding: Let's just say that I had several people come up to me and say they felt like they were in a movie and that if there was anything that went wrong they would never have guessed. Actually nothing went wrong. As stated in other reviews...Carolina is amazing. How she does it all, I do not know but she does. Whatever you want, just ask her when you get there. She will try to do everything you want, within reason. The new gazebo is awesome. I did see beach weddings which are nice, and for those who feel like she is pushing the gazebo, don't worry...she definitely leaves the options wide open when you arrive and have your meeting with her, no pushing or coaxing of any kind to do anything but what YOU want.

Everything was simply perfect!

I did my own hair and nails. Just trust Carolina. She will cover every detail necessary.

Dinner: La Uva. Ceasar salad, beef medallions...excellent. Our wedding was late because Pastor York couldn't come until 6pm so after dinner I was restless and didn't want to wait to go to beach party so I asked Carolina if we could cut cake on beach...she brought the cake out on the table and we did it all out there! Loved it.

Beach Party: This is where they charge $9 per adult for open bar service. SOOOOO much fun and I highly recommend it! They set it up way nicer than I expected. Tables and chairs and the area sectioned off. I hired DJ Mannia who rents a dance floor so we had that too, which was great. The breeze of the ocean, tons of lighting...it was perfect.

DJ Mannia...if you have the budget, go for it. It gave the reception a more "traditional" feel. They MC and play whatever music you want. They introduced all of the wedding party, announced first dance, garter toss, etc...they made it a lot of fun. They rent the dance floor as well, and since we all dance salsa and latin dances it is easier to have the floor, so we thought it was worth it.

HDC Photgraphers: AMAZING!! Everyone loved working with Arnaud and Diego (videographer) they were the nicest guys and when everyone saw our pictures...they were amazed. Everyone keeps asking where I found this awesome company. :) Thanks to BDW brides! I hiiiiiighly recommend them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
