I was under the impression that Claudia could also be used as the photographer included in the wedding package but I was wrong.... Looking back I don't know why I thougtht that, but any way. I sent her an email yesterday and I have already received a response (she was the one who cleared up the whole her included in the package thing). She sent me a price list and the cheapest package I saw was $1300 for 3 hours. She does an amazing job so I am really considering it, even though it totally screws up my budget. Ugh!!!! I thought I could use both her and Juan. Any thoughts?

Ok sorry two post in a row but after reading the prices of these packages it may be beneficial to hire her?

I suppose it depends if you are going with the ultimate package, because you won't get a credit for what you don't use, and how long you want the photographer for. Juan just cleared this up and so you have him for 90 mins even though you only get 50 pics in the package if he takes 300- 400 you must be able to do a deal with him

I know personally we just can't stretch anymore its cost x3 the package to even get there

I wasnt going to hire an outside photographer because of budget but I decided that it was really important to me to have all the pics I wanted, I mean they are for a lifetime. If you think about it, her price really is not too awful. When I told Daniella I would be using Citlalli I was able to get a few other things included since I am not using the package included in the Ultimate package.

Hi I feel the same way! I'm totally bumed that Claudia is so much more expensive. pokestick.gifTo me photography is a huge part of your day because you can always take that back with you. My TA told me that if I were to find someone else that I would like better who was around my price range that it might be possible to negotiate something...maybe having them pay a day pass. So I will let you know what I find out. Take care!

I e-mail claudia yesterday too, and she sent me price list as well. Since the price range is way beyond of my budget planning, and Dreams will not take that part off from the package price, I'll stick with Juan.

Do you girls know if I don't want the album, can I just ask for more pictures to be included instead? Should I talk to the WC or Juan for this case?

I rather get more pic since I am a designer, I can do my own album and get it print somewhere else cheap. smile120.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
