THANKS!

The pictures that come with the package are taken by Juan Navarro. In order to hire Claudia Rodriguez, you would have to hire her directly. I agree that 45 minutes is not enough for pictures. I had assumed that it would be at least an hour. I am still very unhappy that I have only two choices of photographers and Claudia is booked for my date. I liked it much better when we were able to bring in our own photographers :) I think I have Claudia's rates. I will try to PM them to you.

Its only Juan Navarro that takes then and no he is part of the package, if you want extra photographs I think you have to upgrade through the hotel, however I'm gonna work on that one - i've tried to email him but he ignores them! and its 40 mins not 45!! if you are looking for 6 hours its going to cost you mega bucks because Claudia is not cheap and neither is Juan Navaro if you get him on upgrade

You and me both I made this point to the WC but as usual they've ignored me! The rates are actually on here somewhere I found them the other day - do a seach. If I had a choice I would be using a diff photographer, a one from this site but I couldn't afford to pay for him and a stay and to be truthful I wouldn't want to get him busted

So this whole Dreams package thing is turning out to be a joke! I thought I was getting a good deal when I decided on paying for their ultimate package but they don't explain all these little loop holes like this one! My package includes pictures but that only includes 40 mins of a photographer, so if I bought the extra minimum package I would be paying $470 for an extra 20 min or would I get an extra hour? And would the 36 photos on the CD be the photos I should have already received from the package I bought or will they be extra?

Has any one checked out the prices for the VIP flowers and cakes!? Again flowers and a cake are included in the package I purchased but the flowers I really want are in the VIP package and they range from $130-200 extra! Same things with the cake! You would think if you purchased a package they would give you a discounted rate if you wanted to upgrade. I don't see the benefit in buying a package now!

About the pics - I really don't know the answer - I've tried asking and I don't get a proper response. If you upgrade surely they have to give you the lot but I really don't know that is something you will need to ask them direct.

Again the same with the flowers, the cake I'm not upgrading everyone has said its pointless so i'm going with that. I've got to pay the deposit soon and I am seriously thinking of changing everything, but that is basically because when I first thought there would be 30 people now it looks like there will be 5 including me and FI lol

OK, I am another confused bride here.

I am going to use the ultimate package, and on the package, it lists 50 color photo and album. Base on what you girls said, is that means the photographer is only going to be at my wedding for 40 minutes, and then give me 50 pictures? that's like 2 pictures in 1 minute... XD

Any explanation will help, thanks!!!

But if the photographer is only going to be there for 40 minutes, can't really get to many places...umm...

I dont know where the 40 minutes came from, did one of the WCs say that specifically to someone? I know the Ultimate includes 50 pictures in an album so I would assume he would take more then that? All I know is that was Daniella's response to my question about the photography. I decided the pics were very important to me so I hired Citlalli from Claudia's group.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
