hello everyone,

im new to this board, so i wanted to say hello and ask a few questions.

my husband and i are planning on renewing our vows this may at pb sunset beach resort in los cabos. we stayed there last year and loved it.

we have been married for 17 years and are 49 and 62. im not finding alot of information for vow renewals. there will only be 4 of us attending so it was very very small. we would like it to be on the beach at sunset, a few flowers

an official and dinner afterwards. does anyone have any info or can you please point me in the right direction ?

we're still very much in love and while we really dont want to make too big of a deal about this, we would still like it to be nice!!!

thanks for any info.

lynn

Hello and welcome. That sounds very romantic!!!! I am not a Cabo bride but there are so many around here who are sure to help you out as soon as they read your post. In the meantime have you checked out the "wedding" link on the resorts webpage. A lot of the time a vow renewal package is listed under the wedding portion of the web page. Good luck!

Hi and Welcome!!

That is such a romantic way to re-affirm your commitment to each other. I really hope 18 years from now I'm happily planning something as wonderful as this!

I'm thinking vow renewals is the same thing as a symbolic ceremony and you would not need an "official" or a Judge. If so, I think you can just get a minister to oversee the ceremony and the PB Sunset Beach coordinator should have that info.

Let us know what you find out and good luck with your planning!

welcome to the forum...your vow renewal sounds wonderful.

PB sunset is a fantastic place to have it. Have you talked to their events coordiantor? would they do a private event for you (private dinner on the beach)...if not, i am sure you can hire a WC to help you coordinate the ceremony and small dinner.

we have a few on the board as members.

Hello - welcome.

If you need an officiant, we had Maye be our coordinator and officiate our ceremony. We wrote the entire service ourselves (start to finish) and Maye delivered it for us.

See the post Natasha's Vows for a portion of it and feel free to borrow any if you like! Maye is great btw.

Welcome - I love that you are renewing ypur vows... It shows that you are both still passionate about your love for one another. So romantic!

Any of the coordinators out here can help you put together a small ceremony and dinner. The girls here love Maye! - I know that Baja Weddings does a fair share of vow renewals also.

Have fun, Marci

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
