I went out this weekend on a mission to find a bathing suit! Unfortunatley I didn't get one and found this pearl necklace and matching bracelet. LOL I really wanted pearls and I was hoping my grandma would let me borrow hers (therefore my something borrowed)... but I don't know how to ask and I was hoping she'd offer. I know I'm a chicken!!

But anyways I found these pearls, although my dress isn't white (light gold with diamond lace) it should still gohuh.gif

And could I do pearls or wear my diamond earings? ahhhh so many questions.

FI told me this weekend that he wanted to get me a pearl necklace as my wedding gift and to wear for the wedding. I told him not to tell me but he insisted that he had to tell me so I didn't plan to wear something else or buy something else and also so I can pick it out, hahaha!

I'm kind of annoyed that he told me, but at the same time, I'm kind of glad because I don't know if I want a standard pearl necklace I might want something a little different, still pearls, but different.

The other thing I was thinking is that I feel like I will have to wear pearl earrings if I have a pearl necklace. So I told FI I will also need earrings, hahaha, he loved that. But I also don't usually wear studs, I like earrings that dangle a little bit, anyone have any good ideas of where to go to buy pearls?

I have another pearl necklace but it's totally different than mine (pic avobe). They are just soo classy and to me speak "bride". (haha what the hell am i sayin?)

Christine - I think I will go ahead and just wear my diamond earings with it. YAY! I'm excited... oh and by the way the set was on sale for $24.99!!!!! And yes they are real!!

I'ts hard to see exactly what that one looks like, but I bet you can find something similar! I just tried googling and came up with some of these sites - it looks like eBay may be a good place to hunt!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
