Where did you get your flower girl dress?

Recommended Posts

corey, i havent used either of those but i thought i would give you one more to consider... Flowergirls Thumbnails

a friend of mine got her BM and FG dresses from here and was very happy with them. i am considering ordering my FG dress from them because they have a showroom in LA where my 5 yr old cousin can go try it on.

they have an awesome "try on" policy in case you dont live anywhere near a showroom - they will send you a dress in a color/size and you can try it and then send it back within something like 3-5 days. they will also send you up to 7 swatch colors at no charge!

Thanks Maura! The "try on policy" is awesome ... Their dresses are super cute, too. It's always nice to know that someone has ordered from them and been happy!

my mom found dresses at TJ Maxx, they were really cute and all the little girls use them for play dresses now. Actually they also had red flowers on them, so I think all the girls wore them for their Christmas dresses too.

I would look around at department stores or even Marshall's type stores.

Oh and I think quite a few girls (Sarah and Julie for sure) got their girls dresses at Burlington Coat Factory.

Thanks Christine! I've been debating because on the one hand we're heading into easter season, so I thought I might find something in stores ... but then I get worried that we WON'T find anything so I think about ordering!!! I need to make a decision soon! :)

My mother-in-law actually made my flower girl's dress. I couldn't find anything I liked on any of the websites or in any fancy stores, so we found a pattern and some beautiful material and she had it finished in a week. She used to make dance costumes for her daughter and is an amazing seamstress.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
