Mayan Palace - Review + LOTS of PICS

Recommended Posts

  • 1 year later...

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting in touch with the events people at the resort itself? I e-mailed, but they haven't gotten in touch in several days. (This seems to be pretty common though? Several resorts I contacted last week just started getting back to me in the last couple of days.) Won't be able to do a go-see as I live in Oregon and am using all of my vacation time on the wedding, but... I'm really excited about talking to someone and waiting to talk to someone about planning is driving me bonkers! wink.gif Just wondering if there's a better way...

Hello to all Mayan Palace Brides.....

First off, COnGRaTS!!!! I juat returned from my scouting trip to PV and fellin love with the Mayan Palace Marina. WOW is what I can say. Beautiful property and Beautiful Views. I picked the Mayan because to me this place not only caters to its guests, but also it's events. The areas they have are beautiful and in the total pakcage, your getting 4 areas for thevprice you pay. You get the Jetty, Sunset Bar, Beach and there is a section that sits on top of the beach that is awesome for receptions that has Palms Everywhere. I can't express how excited I am to have my wedding here. If you have quesions, ask away. I will try to email pictures if requested. This place has so many areas perfect for pictures.

On another note, there are iguanas that lay by the lagoon that make this place that much more special. No they do not bite, but they are great to look at.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
