Can anyone tell me about bluenile.com

Recommended Posts

FI bought my ring from there. I just found out how much it was. Now Im totally freaked out! what if its ugly or not really worth the pricehuh.gif?

Has anyone gotten a ring from them and then got it appraised? Anyone had it lost on the mail?

UPDATED: Im freaked out because they wont ship it directly to us FPO/AP because of the price.... so they are shipping it to my FI family (fedex)... FI says its there but it seems like a problem to get people to mail it to us. I think there is a 30 or 45 day return policy but it might be too late by the time i get the darn thing. I dont think we could possibly get it shipped to us with the actual price or insurance listed on the box....I dont know if we would have to pay customs tax or what.... going to look now.

It's a good website. Diamonds, Engagement Rings and Fine Jewelry at Blue Nile

go check it out. You sort the rings by quality, so he will know what he is getting. The rings are usually appraised for more than was paid for them at bluenile. They offer fedex overnight shipping. I imagine it's insured. Don't worry. It's a very popular, legit company.

They are fine to work with, and totally legit. One of the jewelers we talked about actually suggested buying our stone from them because they have so much inventory. And I know that loose stones are returnable (don't know about rings), so if you don't like it, back it goes.

We bought our wedding bands from bluenile and love them!

DH told me the wrong size for his ring, so I had to return it twice, but they were very nice about it, no problems. They do ship through fedex and the box is not marked where it is from, for security purposes. But they have a very good return policy and I was also able to find a discount code online and saved us about $100 on our rings as well!

BlueNile is one of the best places to get high quality diamonds.

I did my marketing research paper on them after my FI proposed back in May.

The ring came via FedEx. BlueNile has a great selection of diamonds that fits everyone's budget.

FI won't tell me how much my ring costs, but since the website has the build your own ring feature, I was able to estimate. I got my ring appraised by another jeweler and it was appraised for over 150% of the costs. Woohoo!

BlueNile is a reputable jeweler and has great customer service.

In addition, we got 5 frequent flyer points with Continental airlines for every dollar spent. That's 2 free domestic flights. cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
