FI bought my ring from there. I just found out how much it was. Now Im totally freaked out! what if its ugly or not really worth the price?
Has anyone gotten a ring from them and then got it appraised? Anyone had it lost on the mail?
UPDATED: Im freaked out because they wont ship it directly to us FPO/AP because of the price.... so they are shipping it to my FI family (fedex)... FI says its there but it seems like a problem to get people to mail it to us. I think there is a 30 or 45 day return policy but it might be too late by the time i get the darn thing. I dont think we could possibly get it shipped to us with the actual price or insurance listed on the box....I dont know if we would have to pay customs tax or what.... going to look now.

It's a good website. Diamonds, Engagement Rings and Fine Jewelry at Blue Nile

go check it out. You sort the rings by quality, so he will know what he is getting. The rings are usually appraised for more than was paid for them at bluenile. They offer fedex overnight shipping. I imagine it's insured. Don't worry. It's a very popular, legit company.

Go to Diamond Forums at Pricescope and search for Bluenile- you'll find lots of info there and you don't have to sign up unless you want to ask a question. It is actually an awesome site if you love diamonds. :) Hope this helps.

They are fine to work with, and totally legit. One of the jewelers we talked about actually suggested buying our stone from them because they have so much inventory. And I know that loose stones are returnable (don't know about rings), so if you don't like it, back it goes.

We bought our wedding bands from bluenile and love them!

DH told me the wrong size for his ring, so I had to return it twice, but they were very nice about it, no problems. They do ship through fedex and the box is not marked where it is from, for security purposes. But they have a very good return policy and I was also able to find a discount code online and saved us about $100 on our rings as well!

they're legit, but seem pricey compared to E- Wedding Bands: Platinum wedding bands, titanium wedding bands, Palladium Wedding Bands, Wedding Rings, Tungsten rings
we got our bands there, and the diamonds are perfect!

BlueNile is one of the best places to get high quality diamonds.

I did my marketing research paper on them after my FI proposed back in May.
The ring came via FedEx. BlueNile has a great selection of diamonds that fits everyone's budget.

FI won't tell me how much my ring costs, but since the website has the build your own ring feature, I was able to estimate. I got my ring appraised by another jeweler and it was appraised for over 150% of the costs. Woohoo!

BlueNile is a reputable jeweler and has great customer service.

In addition, we got 5 frequent flyer points with Continental airlines for every dollar spent. That's 2 free domestic flights.

Ohh and I forgot to add that I get many praises from random people about my ring (the ring just shines and sparkles=).

If you got a high quality diamond (priced lower than Tiffanys), you'll be sooOO happy with it!!

                Congrats!
