Room Upgrades???ARRRRGGHH

      Ok again I'll post this again. The free wedding does not include minister and legal stuff. It is 200 bucks for minister and legal paperwork. Thats it thats all. 200 US dollars for that. That is ALL we paid for our wedding. There is no 250 for anything else. Unless you upgrade for anything.

        That's b/c you got married in 2007. The rates for 2008 are different. The "free" wedding package costs $250 and then the miinister and legal fees are an additional $250. I confirmed this with the RIU Ochos Rios earlier this week.

          I agree that the room category has nothing to do with the upgrade, and it is based on availability and discretion.

          U.S. dollars in the hand of the check-in attendant is your best shot if it isn't automatically offered...money talks and it will be far cheaper than paying the upgrade price :P
