Should I hire you to replicate my monogram in higher resolution (and maybe do it more perfectly)?
I can convert it to a photoshop image once you send it to me. I don't know this for sure, but I really think publisher images would be high res. The program is designed for printing things. Powerpoint just lets you get up to 150dpi. It's really not bad though. I've used my powerpoint logo on lots of things (STDs, brochures) and couldn't tell a difference. But, I didn't print it huge.

I think a way to get around this is to make it 2x size in powerpoint. I'm still learning all this resolution stuff.

300 dpi in the size you are printing is ideal. Say you want a 4x6 image. You either need something that is 4x6 at 300dpi, or something that is 8x12 at 150 dpi.

So, I don't have powerpoint... and I really need a logo or monogram. If someone has some bored down time (ha! I know that is silly to assume a future bride has that) I would really love one!!! My theme is starfish... Not sure of the colors yet. Our names are Kathi and Ryan our date is September 7th 2008 and we are getting married at the dreams resort in Cancun. Anything else I should addhuh.gif

Great! Glad you figured it out.

Sarah,
Thank you....

too funny!

I saw this wedding (beach weddings - lots of BDW girls watched it). Anyway, they had their logo EVERYWHERE at their wedding. It was even drawn with gold in some places. I think it was on their aisle runner. Just about every place you could squeeze in a logo. It might have been projected on the wall too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
