Aww, you're welcome Yari. You all know I love monograms! I might start doing them for people a little more- I might add them to my website and let people choose a free one like Aylee did for a while... We'll see.

I get stuff from all over the place. Most of what I use for monograms are actually fonts- actually dingbat fonts to be specific. Go to dafont.com and look at all the different dingbats they have. Most I've gotten free, although I have bought a couple... If you're looking for something specific let me know- I might have a font with it already there. I'm a font junkie :)

I actually paid for that! lol

I searched EVERYWHERE for a background/clipart that I thought represented what I wanted my logo to say- fun, elegant, cute, yet professional. I probably looked at thousands of backgrounds. Do a google search for "grunge floral" and you'll get a bunch of stuff.

I have a file on my desktop where I always save any clipart or font or anything I can use for sigs, logos, monograms, album art, etc. It's my "inspiration" folder...

Wow, those monograms are so much better than anything I can come up with!! If anyone is bored tonight and feels like creating one for me I'd be oh so very very happy!! Even though it seems so easy, I seem to be creatively challenged on this diy! So, only if you're bored looking for something to do, my info is:

First Names: Kelly and Jonas

Last Initial: C

Location: Negril, Jamaica

Wedding Date: May 7, 2008

Wedding Color: Turquoise (like a bright blue turquoise)

I'd love to have a palm tree incorporated, but I'm definately not picky at this point!

Kelly,

Warning! This is my first attempt at creating monograms, but I thought I would try yours out for fun. If you like them, I will send them to you. Just let me know. If you need colors or fonts changed, I can easily change it! Hope you like them.

Not exactly extra bored, but figured I make one for you girls anyway. Figured it would be easy since you both just wanted palm trees :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
