Any 1 worried their FI wont like the dress ?!

Recommended Posts

Go back and try the dress on. I think most bride second guess the dress they picked. I did and when I went to try it on again, I just knew it was the right one.. All of us brides just want's our future hubby's jaw to drop when he sees us for the first time.. Trust me it will happen even if you wear a potato sack.. :-)

I'm not worried. I think I chose a dress that is sort of a happy medium of what I wanted and what he wanted. His only request was that it be white, no other colors.

Of course, this is the man who thinks that just because you have on a shirt and a pair of pants it equals an outfit. The best line ever was, "Honey, don't let me turn into the dad that the other kids laugh at." While he was wearing black socks, adidas sandals, and shorts.

Well -I'm just impressed your FI was looking through wedding mags with you! :) I think the only concern with the FI regarding the dress-was how much we were spending on it- and he doesn't know the "real" number, now! :) He'll love you in it-- no worries at all....

I am worried that he won't like it. The dresses he likes are all kind of frou-frou for my taste. My dress is nothing like the dresses he likes. All I told him about it was that the dress I chose was definitely my taste. Since I am on the busty side, strapless was not an option, I definetly needed something that allow me to wear a bra. Also, my dress is short and is perfect for the beach. I am wearing a veil to dress it up.

You know, like Tammy B said - if you wore a potato sack, he'd love it!

In the end, it's your day and you only get one chance to be a first-time bride. I'm sure we'll all be glowing and they'll love us in whatever we wear!

I am VERY worried. Shawn has very specific ideas in his head of what a pretty wedding dress looks like. I'm nervous! Especially because he demands it be white. Well... dress #1 is white, but now I might be getting dress #2 which is actually gold with an ivory lace overlay... so NOT white! I'm very scared about that, but white looks so bad on me!

Your FI might look at a dress on the model and think it's ok, but when YOU have it on, he will see the woman he loves dressed like a bride. It's just not a dress. It's much more than that.

I wouldn't worry about it. I bet you could wear a paper sack on the wedding day and he would still think you look beautiful. There's going to be so many emotions, he will only be thinking of love.

Guys are clueless! He probably only hopes it casual so he can get away with something ultra casual too. I wouldn't worry much.
