SOO last minute but I think I want to book a cocktail reception now - I emailed my TA today - did your WC send you pics of the reception places? I just wondered if I should call my WC too or just let the TA handle it? What do you think? Also if you have any pics of the locations I would love to see them!

Oh, shoot. I do have a bunch of pics but they are on my work computer and I won't be back til Monday! Sorry... but I did get them all from my WC, so if I were you I would email her directly and introduce yourself (if you haven't already) and ask for some pictures... otherwise I can certainly send you what I have on Monday...

hmm.... ill have to get back to you on that one - it was 2 years ago! - I can tell you that they have 2 main buildings there - it was one of the resturants in the southern building - and the resturant had seating literally right next to an outside pool (where nobody swam during the hours when the resturant was open -- it was Fantastic! ... My wife's in the shower, but I'll ask her when she gets out if she remembers the name of it

  • 3 weeks later...

They say 90 days in advance, but I contacted Miami about 4 months out and asked if they would let me book a specific place so that I could put the specifics on my invites. They were great once I explained why I wanted to get my contacts a little earlier.

Good luck! I am less than two months out and can't wait!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
