Dreams Puerto Vallarta Or Cabo???

Hi All - I am the mother of the groom helping to make arrangements for an October 25 wedding at Dreams in Puerto Vallarta. They have taken a long time getting back to me and then quoted something quite different from the advertised packages on their website. Has anyone had a wedding there who can give feedback? It's our first choice but we would also consider Cabo. Thanks a bunch !

HI welcome to the forum. I can't help you with PV or Cabo but I was originally getting married at the Dreams in Punta Cana and it was taking a really long time to hear back from the wc (like over a week sometimes) so i ended up switching resorts (not just that reason). I was told that particular Dreams resort did many weddings daily (5 or 6 a day).

Maybe they are just as busy in pv too.

welcome! i'm getting married at dreams pv in *yikes* 3 1/2 weeks...gaby is really nice and very knowledgeable - BUT she's really busy and definitely takes awhile to get back to people. if you don't hear within a week, then resend the same email with 'resending info' or something to that effect in the subject. she does one wedding/day (i believe) and i've only heard good things about her from ppl who have been married there recently. also, the prices on the website may be for 2007, and she may be giving you 2008 prices, but that's just a guess.

feel free to ask questions, and i'll be posting a review in a few weeks! good luck!

Welcome! I've never been to Dreams Cabo but we have lots of those brides here who can give you perspective. I stayed at Dreams PV and it was lovely. Since it's on a cove the beach is private, and it's 5 minutes from the malecon but feels a world away. It's an awesome place, I hope it works out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
