I was married June 8 - and didn't have an issue. Sure, it was hot - but it was June in Mexico ... so, yeah - it's going to be warm. And it is the start of the rainy season - so there could be a chance. I didn't have an issue, but could have. I think it may have rained a little the day after the wedding, but I didn't see anything more.

You can get cute umbrellas to give as favors just in case.

Don't let a little sprinkle damper your outdoor wedding.

I mean, people were sweating on the dance floor, especially since we also had a bon fire! But no one complained - they just went to put their feet in the water I guess, if they were warm. I changed into more of a sundress at some point - but that was mainly because I didn't feel well.

I got married in late May and I thought it was way too hot. Some of our guests from the east coast did not mind as much because they are used to the heat and humidity but I am from LA and our LA guests were quite uncomfortable (even if they didnt complain). That being said, if you are going all the way to PV to get married, dont get married indoors! Just make the best of whatever comes your way. However, if your date is not set yet, I would seriously consider changing it. Your fiance is correct in thinking about the guests comfort, because you two will be so happy, nothing will bother you:) I also changed into a mini dress for the reception and my husband changed his shirt to a white linen shirt. We had planned this for fun way in advance but on the day of the wedding it was so hot, it was a necessity!!! My husband had sweated through his ceremony shirt and I was so overwhelmingly hot in my wedding gown.

We married in early June as well and it did not rain once. It was hot and humid but not unbearable. Our our wedding was at 6PM and I think that makes a huge difference. I would strongly advise against an outdoor wedding in the mid-day because it would be on the verge of miserable for you and your guests to sit in the sun.

I think most people would expect the heat since it is summer in Mexico like Ann said. All of our pre-wedding info stressed the heat factor and most guests found the heat and humidity to be far less extreme than they thought, maybe because we put such an emphasis on it? June is beautiful in PV, I say go for it!

Thank you girls I'm actually convincing my fiance to doit outdoors, the reception wont start until around 8 pm since my ceremony is late around 6pm so I'll be getting a late start but now Im glad since it might be cooler for all of us!! I'm thinking of the Sheraton if anyone's intrested to know =-)

In June the sun sets later so that is perfect, and about the same timeline Ann and I had. A few of our guests stayed at the Sheraton and were very pleased. Happy planning!

We are getting married early July and are preparing to get a tent just incase it rains. I refuse to travel all the way to PV to get married indoors.

I know its hot, however this past summer in L.A. it reached 115 degrees and we dealt with it so, I'm sure we can deal with the heat there.

    • It’s been years... and I’m now searching for the same in Montego Bay or Negril. Did anyone ever have any luck finding?
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!

    • Please tell me, the best wedding venue in Saskatoon, SK.
    • Hey everyone! Like the others here, I'm interested in wedding reception, venue and all related steps & stuff. Starting with my first and the most important note is that we're international couple and we need to think of bilingual wedding. So the first thing we need to think of is whether it will be interpretation or 2 different venue coordinators, sermons and stuff? What is your experience, what could be the best and affordable solution? From googling the issue I've found this Interactio app team ( describing possible solution here  http://blog.interactio.io/case-study-weddings )Basically they offer to hold the venue in the main language, additionally providing simultaneous interpretation online to other quest's mobile phones. Looks like really easy and creative idea. What about the others? How did you solve this kind of obstacle? Any additional advises would be very welcomed here
