I was JUST going to ask if anyone has tried the ACE bandage, belly band, girtle trick. I've read that it really helps everything morph back into shape, but I was wondering if anyone did it.

i never thought of trying a girdle. i've never had a six pack, but that would be awesome!i'm still wearing my belly band though.
This may be a stupid question but what's a belly band & what do you use it for??

oh, it's just a piece of stretchy material you wear over you pre-pregnancy pants while pregnant. it's so you can still wear pants that don't quite button up anymore. sort of transition between your regular clothes and maternity clothes.

My trainer had me work my core....you lay on your back with your legs bent and your arms to the side of your body. Life up your pelvis without taking your shoulders off the ground.....hold for 15 seconds then rest for 10, repeat a couple of times. It really helps to strenghten your core.

I was always told that crunches and sit ups didn't really work so well?

Oh another one I use to do....lay down on your back and put your hands under your booty. Have your legs straight out then lift them up..repeat a couple of times.

My sister and I did a marine boot camp one time (I know we are crazy) and they taught us all these stomach exercises to get toned and get a six pack and what not.

Throw downs: You lie down on the floor and place your hands over your head and hold on to something stable like a chair (that won't move). Slowly lift your legs off the ground (keep your legs straight) until they are perpendicular. Then throw your legs down toward the ground (but don't let your legs touch the ground). Try to get your legs as close to the ground as possible without touching.

The trick to this is to throw your legs down hard and fast but then not let your legs touch the ground. Trust me it hurts like hell. To work your obliques (the side muscles) throw your legs to the right and then to the left. It really works your abs out like crazy.

I hope this made sense.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
