Le Blanc Spa and Resort 2014 Wedding?

Any Le Blanc brides out there planning their wedding in 2014?  I just booked my wedding for Sept. 13, 2014 and am so excited to start the planning.  I've been looking through all the threads and I didn't see too much about recent Le Blanc weddings.  So I figure I would start a thread to exchange ideas and information.  Any recently married Le Blanc brides please share your experiences as well. 

Hi NJBride! We are getting married at Le Blanc on April 26, 2014 and currently flying home from our site visit. I will just say that I was in tears to leave this morning!! This hotel is BY FAR the best and you've made an amazing decision. We are dying to get married here & bring back all of our friends and family with us! I know of one other 2014 bride, Bruna, so we can all help each other out with the planning! Right now we are just in the process of negotiating group rates - ugh - the worst part!! I will say though that it was so helpful to see the resort in person... I changed a lot of our plans for ceremony, reception, etc after being there so let me know if you have any specific questions! xx

Hi Linds2014! Nice to see another Leblanc bride on here.  My fiance and I have been to Leblanc twice and loved it so much that we always said that when we get married it would definitely be there.  The last time we went was in 2011 so I know some things have changed I can't wait to go on our site visit in October.  Isn't the resort just so beautiful and relaxing??  I know what you mean about the group rates that defiantly was a stressful part when thinking about how much we were asking our guests to pay to come to our wedding.  I ended up going with a TA for our group rates as they were a little better than what LeBlanc quoted us directly.  I can't wait to visit again and plan all the little details.  When you went on the site visit did you get to meet with your wedding coordinator, try any food or meet with any vendors?  My fiance and I have so many ideas of how we want the wedding but I'm sure that can change at our site visit.  Are you going with the complimentary package?  We chose it for right now and might upgrade it later on but just wondering if you got to see what the complimentary package comes with.  Well happy planning and look forward to exchanging ideas and information.  

Hi Le Blanc Brides.....

Congratulations to all of you!  I have a question.  Whats the best price that any of you have gotten quoted for your guests hotel rooms?  I absolutely Love Love La Blanc but am having a hard time having my guests spend so much to attend the wedding.  Maybe one of you are a top notch negotiator!!!  Any tips before I start with them?!

I'm getting married at LeBlanc April 30, 2014 :-)  We've never been there; we're just going off all the great reviews I've read online.
