PHOTOGRAPHERS in Cayo Coco

There is a photographer in Varadero who will travel who is quite good. His name is Alex. You can check out his facebook page Cuban Wedding Photographer. He does require you to put down a deposit in order to reserve him, but there are a number of people who have used him and have been very pleased with the outcome! I am booking him for my wedding in May 2014!

I am also looking into a photographers for our March 2014 wedding in Cayo Coco. Where are you getting married? At which resort. We are looking at either Memories Flamenco or Memories Caribe. Nice to see another Cayo Coco bride. Not too many reviews on here from there.

It is because there are a lot of brides from the US and they can't go to Cuba, which is to bad it is such a great country. Check Facebook too I know that the resort that I am getting married at has an Iberostar Varadero Brides page, that a long with this site has been a god sent! The Facebook page has helped me answered so many questions about the resort and the wedding its self while this website has helped with all the other DIY's and planning!

As for the photographer, I also got a quote from Alex he is very reasonable and people love his work! Also check to see if the resort has a photographer thats also an option! Good luck and congrats!

Hello!

So nice to see another Cayo Coco bride!!
I'm getting married at the Tryp Cayo Coco on Valentines Day next year. Alex gave me a quote and it is very reasonable, and his work looks great!  Just not sure if I'm going to book him or have friend do it, who is a photographer.  I've been on trip advisor and that has been helpful for cayo coco information, but the wedding planner at the Trype, Jorge, has been the most helpful, he emails me back within a day! He basically said you can have anything you want! lol

I was going to book the Memories Flamaneco but I didn't like the look of the beach. as most of my guests love to sit on the beach and snorkel rather than poolside.

Good Luck planning and let me know if you find out any information or how the planning is going, Always love to chat!

Oh my goodness, I am so happy to find some other Cayo Coco brides!

So sorry that this is not related to the actual topic but I just needed some help finding a good resort. My fiance wants Cayo Coco for sure but I've only ever been to Holguin so I don't exactly know how to find the best resort for a wedding. If anyone has any tips, it would be so greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
