Hey ladies,

 

I am recently engaged and am trying to secure a date at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. I've emailed and called but haven't heard anything yet. How long does it usually take for a wedding specialist to get back to you? If anyone has had this problem please help a girl out! :)

I went through my travel agent which I'm sure speeds up the process. It still took a week to get a confirmation from them once I submitted the forms. I can say that just trying to email the coordinators can take forever to get a response. Sometimes upwards to 3 months!!

 

If you are working with a TA, I would suggest going through them. If not.. keep doing what your doing.. call, email until you get a response.

I hear ya, I have been waiting since the beginning of Dec to hear back to set a date! My resort says that their wedding packages aren't out yet for 2014 though so that's why it's taking so long. Its really frustrating waiting though, so i can empathize. Hope you hear back soon! :)

Where are you located? A TA would probably depending on where you are booking from.

 

I booked using iTravel2000 here in Canada. Though, I did not have a great experience with the first TA I was assigned with... she was horrible, though she know longer works there.

 

I would suggest doing some research or asking around to friends if they have a TA they work with that's good.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
