Hair & Makeup Services

Recommended Posts

Hello I am getting married this Oct at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. I'm deciding if I should use the hotel's spa service do my my hair & make-up as well as my bridal party. I've read on the forum that Suzanne Moral is the go to person hair & makeup in Cabo.

Any advice, suggestions on this matter?

Thanks Brides!

Im getting married at Hacienda Encantada in October 2012 so Suzanne's girls haven't done my hair yet but so far they have been really responsive and easy to work with! I just sent in my contract today along with ideas and am happy so far!

Congratulations on booking your wedding! I am getting married at Dreams on September 22 and have been looking into using Neysa Berman with Blanc Salon for my hair and make up. She has great reviews on this blog, quick to respond, much cheaper than Suzzane Morel, and has a great portfolio. Check our her web site and blog for pricing, pictures, and contact information.

Iliketea - I have the same question. I'm going between the cheaper Dreams hair and that Neyssa that people have written about. I've written Neyssa twice over the last couple of months and haven't heard back from her though.... Any updates from you?

Hey gals! Not sure how you're contacting Neysa, but I use this email, neysaberman@gmail.com, and I hear back from her within a day or two. She's always been quick to respond and super helpful. Hope you can reach her. Also, from some of the feedback I've heard through this blog, it seems like Dreams Salon does okay hair & makeup. Neysa's work is pretty amazing. Since my bridesmaids want something simple, they are using Dreams Salon and I am hiring Neysa for myself and our mothers, as a gift, since you need 4 services to book Neysa. In case you were curious of Dreams salon prices, these are the quotes I received from the salon director. Magda mentioned you'll book directly with the spa director for any services, such as the ones in the wedding packages.        Hairstyling (long hair)         $59 usd        Hairstyling (short hair)        $49 usd        Make up                         $49 usd Good luck with hair and make up decisions!!

I have emailed and written through the website's contact form. Weird. I'll try again... For Neysa, is she coming to the resort or are you going to her? And do you mind sharing how much Neysa is charging (including travel if she is coming ot you)? Also, are you paying for your bridesmaid's hair/make-up? I'm didn't buy their dresses ($200) so feel as though I should pay for hair. What did you do?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
