My Test Run on RSVP's.. Pics

They def need some work.. But here is the RSVPs I created today. ) I plan on printing them on Metallic Pearl Cardstock. I was wanting to add a faded stamp in the backgorund of the hibiscus flowers (like on the labels for the playing cards) since it looks so plain on the white cardstock (but I haven't figured out how to yet). Maybe once I get it printed on the pearl paper they wont look so plain.

The paper in the picture is just regular white cardstock. But the paper I will be using for my RSVP, Bridesmaid cards and Passport covers, I ordered from PaperandMore.com  <--- Highly recommend them!  I ordered 100 sheets of Pearl Cardstock, 100 sheets of Pink Azela Cardstock, and 50 envelopes for right under $80 with shipping included.

Hey Miss Bubbles.

These will looks awesome on pearlescent cardstock. I definitely understand your frustration regarding background images.  I ran into the same problem with my orchid themed boarding pass invites, but I finally figured it out (in MS word version 2010 anyway).  Hopefully this make sense: make sure you format  all of your images to be "behind  text". Also your text has be to inserted in a text box in order to select teh proper formatting options.  Once you create a text box, make the fill color white, and set the transparency to 20% to 50% (this is a matter of personal preference and image/font colors being used). If you still have questions let me know.

Should I do the rounded corners or leave them pointy?  Ever since I bought my corner rounders, I have been rounding the corners on everything in site.. lol..

Also, should I take away the "place stamp here" that I added?  I will go ahead and place a stamp on each one so people will actually return them with a yes or no response. Or so I hope.

Hmm... even though it's minimal, I think it's a waste of ink to print 'place stamp here' if you're going to provide postage.  On another note, I thing I did was add the ages for what classified a child at my resort.  The age group tend to vary from one resort to another i.e. at my resorts children pricing is based on an age of 2-12, but the average person would consider a 14 year old a child.  Just a though, since this distinction might impact your total costs.

I will check with our resort on the child "age range" and I will also check our reception dinner venue to see what their child "age range" is. (Hopefully it's the same)  Thank you sooo much!  I didn't think of that!
