US Brides willing to receive packages and ship to Canada

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies,

I've seen offers for this on a few different forums, but thought it might be nice to compile them in one place. So if you live in the US and would be willing to receive a package for a Canadian bride and ship it across the border, please post here so we can contact you! This might help us save on shipping costs, but also allows us access to some of those great sites that just won't ship to Canada.

Thanks!

Okay all you brides that said you would help.. lol

I am a Canadian Bride and used to fall in love with favors on theknot until I found out they do not ship to Canada. They instead referred me to their sister site, American Bridal. Their prices are not as great, but this week the fans I have been eyeing for almost a year now are on sale for $1.40 each, the personalized sandalwood fans. I only need like 40 so I jumped at the opportunity - then my shipping was $86.21 and my duty fees were going to be another $28.75. The fans themselves with my coupon code only came to like $45! Then they want me to drop another hundred bucks to ship them? Eeeeeeeyuck.

The shipping can't be that horrendous for you USA brides, I'm hoping. Anybody willing to help? embarrest.gif

yes, annie, I'd be happy to help (and for any other CA brides out there). I'm located in Austin, Texas and have already sent a shipment of 18 bubba keg tumblers to Ontario successfully. : ) PMing you my address now.

I got my sandalwood fans at www.weddingfavorites.com. They were $0.59 each, not sure if they ship to Canada but even if they don't they are less expensive (no personalization though). I am buying a rubber stamp to personalize them (in orange!!!) Just another thought!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
