Ivory/off white button up shirt for boys

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for an ivory or off white short sleeve button up shirt with wooden or coconut shell buttons to match the groomsmen shirts. I can't find one! Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find this? I don't know if it is just seasonal and maybe they are not in the stores yet...but I can't believe it is this hard to find.

Hi,

I am having the same challenge. I want the same style shirts for my 2 ring bearers.

Connie'sKids.com has some ivory short sleeve button ups - the sizes are limited, but is worth a shot. I placed an order I need a size 5/6 and a size 12. She was out of the 5/6 and she informed me the vendor is no longer making the shirt.

As a back up I found off white polo shirts at GapKids that I will use for the boys

They're not my first choice, but I think it will work fine for my beach wedding...in the meantime still searching for the short-sleeve button up camp shirt in ivory

Good Luck! We had an aweful time tyring to find exactly this for FI to wear since my dress is more of a creamy/milky white, but not ivory either. I finally found a few a Kohls but FI was to small to fit into them. Luckily, I was at Target the other day and found exactly what I was looking for. Let us know how it goes!

We got our men's shirts at Costco for $19.99. They look exactly like Tommy Bahama and they are the same material (I think 100% silk). I love them. But my luck was not so great with the boys shirt. I went to the department stores and all of the surf shops in town...nothing in ivory or off white!! Originally I had seen the perfect shirt on Tommy Bahama webste but it was so pricey I decided "how hard could it be" to find a similar one. I had no idea!!! When i decided to give up, I went back to Tommy and they did not carry that style for boy's anymore.

I almost ordered a white hawaiian shirt out of desperation but I decided to check the TB website again and sure enough they had the shirt again! They didn't have the right size but I emailed customer service and they gave me a list of stores with the right size. So I just ordered it over the phone today! I'm so happy. It is more than I wanted to pay but it will look nice in pictures.

Here's the link if you are interested. It looks a little white in the photo but we saw this color - continental - in the store and it is an off white. The person over the phone confirmed that also.

Thanks for posting the link to the TB Fiji Coast Camp Shirt. My groom hates ivory, but my dress is in the ivory family (called candlelight, but more pink instead of yellow). I like the continental color and think it may end up being a good compromise.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
