Pros: food, location, wedding coordinator, activities, beach

I got married at Dream two weeks ago and I cannot stop telling people how much I loved it. I have travelled a lot over the years and have stayed in my fair share of all inclusive and by far this one was my favourite. Yes it might not be the fanciest compared to a Barcelo but the intimate grounds surrounded by a lush jungle and so close to town are perfect to take any group of people too. 40 of us travelled down to Dreams and I never once had to worry about my guests as their is so much to do and see they were constantly busy and impressed. The hotel is so close to downtown it was perfect for when people were in shopping mood-Go to Old Town for sure they have the cutest little boutique stores and Mundo Crystal is where they make all the handblown glass for Puerto Vallarta another place you should definitely try out.  Many of my guests have already expressed to me that their next vacation will be at Dreams Puerto Vallarta as the food was better then any of us were expecting, also the list of daily activities was awesome wether it was hiking up to water falls or doing yoga on the beach the activity staff made my friends and family feel at home.

As far as the wedding went from the first day I contacted Dreams about having my wedding there I received very attentive service. Every time I had a question or comment the wedding coordinator would email me back within a day or two which compared to here back in my home town is amazing (I was trying to plan my second reception and the girl would email me back maybe within a two week span)

When we got down to Dreams I had given a list of things to the wedding coordinator that I wanted done before I arrived and I never once had to worry they were all done and ready when I got there. This seemed to be the theme of the week relaxation I never once had to worry about anything as everything was taken care of. Unlike my friends weddings back at home I was not frantically putting things together the night before instead I spent the night with my guests having fun and drinking good old tequila.

The day of the wedding I had brought my own photographer so we planned to head into town to take pictures before the wedding so I needed my bouquet 4 hours earlier, and again even with short notice the wedding coordinator made it happen and all my flowers  arrived on time. I had the ceremony up at the gazebo which I recommend as I have been to beach weddings before and sand and wind are not a good mix when your trying to get married. The gazebo looked over the water and it was perfect as I look at pictures it was everything I wanted. The reception was also everything I had hoped it would be the staff were a lot of fun and my guests enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The wedding was everything we wanted and more- at one point during dinner my husband turned to me and said he couldn't ask for it to be more perfect than this, and it was perfect!
I would recommend to get married here for sure if you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot for you and all your guests then you have found it! As I read through the other girls blogs yes things will go wrong on or before the wedding day but you need to remember how special the day is and Dreams will help make it that special for you!

Glad to here it all went smoothly for you. I think our wedding was a huge eye opener that they needed to make some changes and I received an email after the wedding of what changes they had made. Hope the future ones continue to go more smoothly. Ours was still beautiful and there are a lot of great memories (comedy of errors aside)! Us and our guests still weren't overly impressed with the resort itself, not just the wedding coordination, but just our opinion based on our previous experiences elsewhere. Best of luck in your future to you and your new husband!
