Pros: On-site wedding planner, beautiful photography
Cons: Wish we could extend time longer than 10PM on beach

We got married at Dreams Tulum on March 18,2017 and I cannot say anything bad about our experience.

Yesenia García was our wedding planner and did such a beautiful job in executing what we visioned for our wedding. She was so easy to work with, always replied to our emails in a timely manner, and went the extra mile to make our wedding perfect. My husband and I felt special from the moment we arrived to the day we left. If you are planning a destination wedding here you will not be disappointed. I simply emailed Yesenia the type of things I wanted for centerpieces, decorations ,etc and they were done exactly like the pictures. We even brought our own decorations and they took care of arranging them exactly how I asked.

We bought the ultimate wedding package and had about 30 guests. Take advantage of all their promotions! We had most of our guests staying at the hotel. I saw a promotion on their website for a free welcome cocktail hour if 10 rooms are booked for 3 nights or more. I took advantage of that and mentioned it to the wedding planner. We received a complimentary welcome cocktail hour that was beyond beautiful!

The wedding was so much fun and went exactly as planned. We had our ceremony in the chapel and the reception on the preferred club beach. I provided the minister a script we wanted to go  by and he executed exactly as I provided. The cocktail hour we had the mariachis and I didn't get a chance to eat the hor d'oeuvres but I heard people enjoyed them, especially the stuffed mushrooms. We chose the bruschetta for the appetizer, citrus salad, and filet mignon and shrimp for the entree. The food was delicious. Way better than the typical "chicken dinner." We chose the tres leches cake for the dessert and our wedding cake was the vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Both were delicious and the food presentation was so elegant!

We used the resort DJ and being that we are huge music fans, I cannot say anything bad about his choice in music. We danced so much. Don't feel the need to hire an outside DJ, save the external vendor fee money.

After our wedding we danced the night away at the little club they had and it was too much fun! The resort photographer Teo is amazing as well! Our pictures came out beautiful! I was not expecting them to turn out as beautiful as they did! They were not cheesy by any means and he really knows what he is doing! He had them ready in a day and I am so happy with them! Yesenia arranged our romantic dinner on the beach and that was seriously romantic and the food was great.

March was a perfect time to have the wedding. It was not too hot and not really humid at all. Little windy but you're at the beach that is expected.

Honestly, I know it's hard planning a wedding in a different country, but they definitely know what they are doing.

So grateful for reviews like this! I've been on the fence about finding a photographer at home and bringing them along or to go with Teo. Hearing feedback like this helps with the decision.

Thank you for all the detail! How was the Chapel? The pictures make it look very small and simple.
