I’m not much of a poster but I feel the need to add my two cents about how wonderful it was to work with Lincoln from MtM photography.

About a year and a half ago I started to plan our wedding in Riviera Maya. First thing I did was sign up to this forum to get ideas and read reviews, I didn't post a lot but I definitely lurked around reviewing posts and vendors.

Once we chose our resort the next big thing was to find our photographer. I looked at many local photographers but I gravitated towards Lincoln and his team at MtM, here’s what set them apart:

1. They always welcomed new brides to the forum

2. Always answered questions and commented on posts that were not only photography related but other topics too

3. They NEVER badmouthed other photographers, in fact I would see them posting nice comments about their peers (bonus points)

4. When a bride would post where they chose to get married they would congratulate them, post pictures of weddings they photographed at that particular resort and wished them luck. No crazy sales pitch – again bonus points.

5. Oh and Lincoln is a fellow Canadian - need to support my peeps!

After my sneaky lurking around on this site I started to follow MtM on facebook. The photos that Lincoln and his team captures are just stunning. Back to point 4. No need to make crazy sales pitches, their photos do the work for them.

Once I made contact with MtM I heard back within hours. They were great with all the questions I had and they had a great selection of packages for all budgets. They really work with you on this to ensure you get the best coverage for your budget. Once the contract was signed I felt a sense of relief that our day was in good hands. Payment was so simple, we made a schedule of e-transfers every 2 weeks and had it paid off before the wedding (best feeling ever ladies!).

The Day of the wedding. I received a knock at the door and there was Lincoln! I feel bad thinking back now... I know I said hi and nice to meet you etc but I just went right back to doing my make up…I think I was freaking out a little that I would not be ready…sorry L. He started taking pictures cracking jokes with us and teasing me about my Canadian habit of saying “Eh” I really had no idea I said it so many times until we all laughed about it. He just made this time lots of fun - no stress at all. Meanwhile Lincoln’s lovely new wife was photographing the guys… she was amazing too and kept the guys in line – Thanks Sylvina! These two worked so well together and kept everything moving with one stunning shot after the other. We recently received some teaser pictures and being a plus sized girl I can be hard on myself with how I look so I was a little apprehensive. I am happy to say I LOVE these photos not only are the moments beautiful I think everyone’s beauty from the inside out were captured perfectly. We truly had a great time with Lincoln and Sylvina, the energy was upbeat and the jokes kept coming we are so happy we had the opportunity to have our special day captured by such beautiful spirited and amazing people! THANK YOU!
