Thank goodness for Teresa! She contacted us after we had requested info from Wright Travel Agency (I guess they referred us to her?). She was very informative and made things simple regarding room options, resort benefits, prices, deadlines, etc. (we had already tried booking a room block directly via the resort – what a disaster that was, so confusing!). We are so grateful for her help, mostly because Palace Resorts refused to give us our correct room and tried downgrading us upon arrival. We had booked and paid for a concierge room. We had both the TA confirmation and the Palace Resort confirmation in hand. Nonetheless, all front desk employees, including the manager, refused to honor our reservation and stuck us in a downgraded room. We called Teresa and she had us in the appropriate room within an hour, no further questions asked. No one else in our party had any issues at check in and in fact, three groups of our 11-group party were upgraded (complimentary) to presidential suites. We also had no problem receiving all the promised group benefits (free cocktail hour and reception, amongst a couple other things). PLEASE take my advice and find yourself a TA before booking!
