My husband and I were married at The Royal in Cancun. Our wedding package included a photographer/package. I emailed our wedding coordinator asking what company they used. From what I got out of her email was that they contracted photographers out under that company’s name. After looking through their online wedding album I wasn’t impressed with the photos. I felt no passion-no story behind them just ordinary everyday photos.  However, I did read a few reviews on one photographer Vanessa  that the company used.  I looked through her work & sent an email to find out if she was available….

   I used BDWF is almost every aspect of planning our wedding. I spent countless hours going almost every photographer/review listed for the Cancun area. I wanted to be ready on the off chance I had to hire an outside photographer. When I came across Samuel’s portfolio/blog  it sounds silly but I felt the passion and the story behind each and every photo. They were truly breathtaking. It’s what I was looking for. I was very excited I called my fiancé (at the time) and as you can imagine he was thrilled to receive those type of phone calls while at work. He looked at the few pictures I had emailed him and he asked the guy question- how much?  At this point I hadn’t looked yet, quite honestly I was nervous. That has always been a very bad habit of mine but what an unexpected surprise he was reasonably priced compared to his competitors.  I Xed out of all the other windows and went to email Samuel. I swear I logged into my email account and I had an email back from Vanessa she was no longer with the company or in the area however she did recommend Samuel. I had one of those holy-cow moments. I took that as a sign that I had to email him!!

  Planning a wedding in the states and relying on email conversations can be extremely nerve racking I must admit I was extremely pleased and impressed with Samuels speedy responses. I could tell from his emails he professional yet fun. By the second email I booked him and I’m so happy I did!! He was so friendly and just had an amazing vibe. He captured every special moment without being intrusive. I received some of our pictures and they are amazing! The quality of his work is truly a gift!!  My only regret after seeing our wedding photos is that we did not book a trash the dress session.  I could only imagine how awesome those pictures would have looked!
