Pros: food, wc, spa

Please message me with any questions . I would love to help!!!

We got engaged in cancun and chose to go back for the wedding and convenience for the travelers to get too. Plus it is close to the night life if you have guests that want to get out of resort too!  The Gran Caribe Real was amazing.

My wedding planning was a breeze.  We chose the Classic Wedding package with a private reception.

Transportation:  On the suggestion of others on this site, we used Lomas for airport transfers. They were great even though my travel agent- Legacy travel made a mistake and did not communicate correctly that we were arriving a day early. Lomas could not find me in system for that day , but when they did  they fixed  it and we got a private suv ride to our hotel, very luxurious.

Hotel:  I choose this hotel because of the location and a lot of brides reviews.  And we had children attending. Entering the lobby I realized I made the right choice. Very clean and well maintained. That speaks volumes. It was a big resort however due to the layout it was easy to keep up with family and even run into them several times without planning it.

The beach area is amazing. The waves are a little rough but worth playing in!

Wedding:  We chose the Classic Wedding package with a private reception.  The wedding was at 3pm on the beach.amazing- I had a symbolic /religious ceremony and hired the violinist. The violinist was soooo worth it!!!  I thought it would rain and freaked out but it didn't . weather cleared up and wind settled. I had a private reception on the beach, my only upgrade was the flowers for the sweet heart table. The rest I used there decorations. It was simple and elegant. It had a wood dance floor which was perfect and we brought our iphone for the playlist using their speakers. It was awesome!

Photographer:  We hired  Nestor from Nestorfotografia@gmail.com and must say he did an amazing job! we were very pleased.  We actually used him for our engagement photos and loved him so much that we hired him through email. He is reliable and trustworthy. He pays attention to all the little details.  We got our pics back before I left Mexico, because he takes whatever time needed to edit the photos before you leave , which many big companies do not do. We also choose to do the ttd in the cenote with him. Amazed at his work!!!! I cried when he showed me the photos.   Check out my fb page or msg me.

The photographer was the most important thing to me as that is all you have left after the wedding. I can honestly say my photographer went above and beyond with out photos!

Miscellaneous: we arrived a day early and went to a market near by and bought maracas that say mexico for $2 each for the ceremony and bought our guests souvenirs from mexico as there welcome gift. It was a mexican blanket, cancun -mayan stature and since it was on valentines day brought a nice heart shaped box of chocolates for each room.

Spa- i had my hair and makeup done at the spa in the royal by Marianna- she was awesome.

WC- first was Marianna through email and when it gets about a few weeks before they tranfer you to an onsite WC- mine was Elizabeth- both were awesome!

Please msg me with any question!!!! or see my fb pics below are the links. You will not be disappointed if you chose this photographer.

Can I ask where you did the cenote pictures and what was the cost associated to do that? We want to do it but have no idea where to go and I've been reading that you have to pay an arm and leg at some places. Also what day and time do you recommend going there?
