AMy husband Jim and I got engaged and married within three months. This of course meant that everything had to happen very quickly. We were also backpacking through South and Central America at the time so the idea of planning everything ourselves became overwhelming. We contacted several wedding planners at the beginning and Leanna was consistently the most enthusiastic and prompt planner that got back to us. This was extremely important to us, so we were very happy when we got to work with her. As we were traveling, communication was a bit of a challenge for us. This did not seem to bother Leanne and whenever we got back to our emails, we would always find that she had answered all our questions and organized the things we needed. As the date got closer Leanne put us in touch with our on site co-ordinator, Maju, who was equally enthusiastic and responsive to our requests. She helped with all our paperwork, took us to the doctor for our tests and took us on a tour of Akumal where we had the wedding. She also organized last minute meetings with the other suppliers. Jim and I felt very relaxed as the date approached, as we knew everything had been taken care of. Maju and Leanna guided us through the whole process and were especially great at organizing things that Jim and I had very little idea about, for this we were extremely grateful. From a budget side of things, Leanne and Maju helped to keep things within our budget. There were no hidden fees of nasty surprises and everything was laid out in black and white from the very beginning. Jim and I had a small wedding party and they even took this into consideration for their final fee. This helped us a lot as Jim and I had not planned/budgeted to have a wedding in the middle of our travels! Overall the wedding was a great success and the whole process was made a lot easier by having Leanne and Maju on our side.
