I got married on August 5th 2011 at Gran Bahia Principe Akumal. I was in charge of the whole wedding planning, including the choice of the photographers. I did a huge research trying to find the perfect photographers who give all pictures plus good amount of edits taken from the entire wedding day for the affordable price. It took me months looking at the websites and portfolios of many many photographers, until i came across the work of Derek Campbell and Lorena Jaimes. I was very excited that I finally found what I was looking for. Derek and Lorena were wonderful people to work with. We booked them for the entire wedding day and decided to do trash the dress later in the week in Cancun. My wedding day was perfect, no clouds on the sky, no wind, the best atmosphere ever. Derek came to my room to take some pictures of the details while Lorena was doing make-up for my sister and myself. Lorena is so talented, she did an amazing job. My make-up looked very natural, just the way i wanted it. My sister was very impressed with hers also.

We also had 10 pictures included from the resort photographer, and we had some issues with him, and I felt really bad because I felt like the resort photographer was always getting in the way of Lorena and Derek. It was very upsetting, but Lorena and Derek handled it well; they were still able to capture the most special moments.

As i said earlier we also decided to do trash the dress, but we did it in Cancun instead of the resort property in Akumal. We came to Cancun in the morning to Derek's studio. Lorena did my make-up and hair, and it looked fantastic. She does things magically! Our trash the dress session took place on the beach close to hard rock cafe, it was very hot, but the pictures are so worth it. We had an amazing time taking them, and now we have a lifetime memory!

In conclusion, I would like to thank Lorena and Derek one more time for taking our beautiful pictures! I recomend these two wonderful people to everybody. Derek and Lorena are both very talented people and they can capture the most precious moments of your wedding day that you will cherish forever. Lorena is a perfect make-up artist, so if you really want to look beautiful on your wedding day, do not even doubt in booking her for your make-up! Good Luck to Everybody! Enjoy every minute of it!
