My wedding was on 7/15/11 at the beautiful Barcelo Maya Palace. We were there for 10 days and had over 40 guests make the trip with us. Everyone stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace.

I can not say anything negative about our experience! Everything was just perfect! Our guests loved the resort! Everything you could possibly need for your guests is there.....drinks, food, entertainment, disco, shopping, water sports, spa....so much to do! Everyone was so pleased. We all had the time of our lives.

We worked with Claudia as our wedding coordinator and she was awesome. We met with her the day after we arrived and in 3 hours our whole wedding day was planned! They REALLY know what they are doing!! Our wedding ceremony and reception was at the Playa Azul location...if you are planning a wedding at the Barcelo, I highly suggest this location! It was just perfect! All of our guests kept saying they felt like they were in the middle of a movie...it was just so beautiful! I wish I could do the whole experience over again! Our guests said we need to renew our vows every year there so we can all go back!! 

Two days after the wedding, we even did a "Trash the Dress" photo shoot with Del Sol Photography! Let me just tell you, after you book your wedding at the Barcelo, you need to book Del Sol as your photographers! Here is a link to my photos:

I LOVE these pictures!! If you are doing a destination wedding....having pictures like this is an once in a lifetime experience that you CANNOT pass up!!
