Last April, my fiancé and I attended a DW for my cousin. We stayed there from Tuesday the 27^th to Sunday May 2^nd. When we arrived at the resort, it definitely was beautiful and the grounds looked amazing. We went up to the check in counter, and started off our week by the resort didn’t have our reservation. Luckily I had my reservation confirmation with me and the resort was able to find accommodations for us, but not until 4pm and we arrived at 2pm. That night we went to the Barcelona for the Welcome Dinner. The food was wonderful. We also ate at Toscana, The Grill, The Lobster House, and Spice during the week. The food was unbelievably good. It really was just amazing. Our favorites were Spice and Toscana. Wednesday was the wedding. Unfortunately it was raining on and off all day so they didn’t get the beach wedding that was originally planned, the new location turned out to be very nice. The cocktail hour had a Mariachi band which was nice and they were pretty cool to have. The reception was fun. There were about 13 of us and the bride and groom had a DJ and we had a blast. The room we were in didn’t get any wind to we were extremely hot from dancing, but we were having too much fun to stop. The rest of the week we just relaxed on the beach. The weather wasn’t great; it was extremely windy and rained on and off all week. We only got 1 day of nice sunny weather. Next time we hope the weather cooperates with us and we can go snorkeling or jet skiing or something. I do want to mention that the staff was great; friendly, nice and just so accommodating. If you were trying to find a place at the resort the staff would drop whatever they were doing and walk you to the location. Everyone there really was amazing.
