About:
Xplor is an adventure park, South of Playa Del Carmen, next to Xcaret. The park offers 4 different activities: zip lines, amphibious vehicles, rafts and swimming inside underground rivers. The park is all-inclusive with a juice bar and lunch buffet.

Pros: Layout similar to an amusement park where you are on your own, photo opportunities, adrenaline activities
Cons: Unable to do the zip line and 4 wheeler circuits more than once
We visited XPLOR this past November during our Wedding/Honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach Resort. After many days of amazing relaxation, we knew we were up for an adrenaline pumping, adventure. We chose XPLOR due the variety of activites it had to offer and the price seemed affordable for a full day adventure (with meals and transportation provided, was $119 per person, purchased from Apple Vacations on the resort property).  The bus picked us up at the resort at 8am. Pros: fun, exciting, good food
Cons: lots of steps, needs more seats to lounge, expensive
We spent a fun, action filled day at Xplor.     They have zip-lines, water slide, amphibious cars, underwater caves and restaurants/bars.   Ziplines: great.  long and fast.  some end up in the water which is fun.     Buffet: the food was pretty good and they had some healthy options (orange-chia juice!)   Lines: the lines were not that bad when we were there so we had only a short wait at each station.   Picture: It is nice that they have picture stations so that yo

Pros: really well planned park
Cons: lines can be long if you don't show up early
I was so impressed by Xplor.  We showed up early to beat the lines and barely had to wait for the ziplines.  Wear watershoes for the ziplines, because there are water landings.  I didn’t realize this and had planned to change into my watershoes for the river, so I got my tennis shoes soaked.   They say it opens at 9, but I think they will let you in at 8:30.  I think we arrived about 8:45.   The ziplines were very nice, with double lines to make you feel safer.  The stops were very g
